![]() The mission of All of Us is simple: to speed up health research and medical breakthroughs. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is part of a nationwide effort to gather health data from more than 1 million people to help accelerate innovation in health care research. The Road Forward workshop series was provided additional funding by the All of Us Research Program (Wisconsin). In 1996 the Foundation established an endowment to expand its financial base and to ensure a prosperous future. Contributors may designate their tax-deductible gifts to the Grants Program or to the Endowment. It pools contributions of hundreds of donors each year to provide grant money to LGBTQ causes.Īs a Foundation, we raise funds from the broad community through events and fund raising campaigns. New Harvest Foundation is the only foundation in Dane County that channels charitable contributions exclusively to organizations working to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) rights, services, culture and community development.įounded in 1984, New Harvest Foundation is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors and assisted by a team of friends. ![]() The Road Forward workshop series was made possible by a grant from the New Harvest Foundation. Participants will be able to register for one or more of the no-cost workshops in the series, facilitated by a professional in the content area. OutReach has partnered with financial advisers, healthcare, mental health, and AODA (Alcohol and Other Drug Addictions) human service professionals to develop the workshop programs that would first, assess needs, then provide resources and tools to address COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on our LGBTQ+ community and offer a road map for the post-pandemic road forward. ![]() ![]() The Road Forward is a series of virtual education and skill development programs targeted to our underserved and marginalized LGBTQ+ homeless, the transgender and gender nonconforming communities, LGBTQ+ seniors, LGBTQ+ communities of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals struggling with behavioral health, substance use, and alcohol. The Road Forward is an OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center initiative made possible by grants from The New Harvest Foundation and the All of Us Research Program, launching spring of 2021. ![]()
